Oakwood has 4 new active cases of COVID-19 amongst the staff group. We have several staff that are isolating based on positive test results or due to being a close contact of a confirmed positive case of COVID-19.
Oakwood has no positive cases amongst the resident population. Residents on 3 of the 4 units are isolating. These residents continue to be regularly swabbed, again at the direction of Public Health.
Based on the high number of cases in the local area and the highly transmissible Omicron variant the home will be closed to all visitors until 17th January 2022 when the situation will be reassessed.
